PENNSYLVANIA — A 25-year-old Windber man was killed Friday evening after losing control of his SUV in Paint Township, according to State Police.
Authorities said Adakin Adamczyk was driving along Clear Shade Drive around 7:30 p.m. at a high rate of speed when he lost control, crashed into an embankment, and rolled. Adamczyk was ejected from the vehicle and sustained life-threatening injuries. He was taken to Conemaugh Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
A second vehicle was involved in the crash, but all passengers sustained only minor injuries.
State Police said the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
