PENNSYLVANIA — State police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred Sunday morning on the ramp from Interstate 83 to Interstate 81 North.
According to investigators, the crash happened around 8:30 a.m. when a vehicle traveling northbound lost control on a curve, struck a guide rail, and overturned, coming to rest on its roof.
The driver, a 68-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not yet been released.
During the investigation, the left lane of the ramp was closed for nearly three hours. The roadway reopened around 11 a.m. Sunday. The crash remains under investigation.
