One person dead following vehicle crash in Ohio

OHIO — A 27-year-old woman was killed Monday morning in a crash involving an SUV and a tractor in Clinton County.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSP) responded to the crash at 8:56 a.m. at the intersection of Second Creek Road and Tar Pike in Marion Township.

According to investigators, a tractor traveling northwest on Tar Pike failed to stop at a stop sign and struck an eastbound SUV on Second Creek Road.

The driver of the SUV, identified as Shelby L. Miller of Wilmington, was pronounced dead at the scene. The tractor driver was not injured.

OSP was assisted by the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office and Blanchester Fire and EMS.

The Wilmington Post is continuing to investigate the crash.
