OHIO — A 45-year-old Alliance woman was killed in a one-vehicle crash Sunday evening, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers said Alisha Broad was driving west on Beech Street NE, just east of Oakhill Avenue NE, around 6:20 p.m. when she lost control of her Cadillac Escalade. The SUV veered off the right side of the road, struck a ditch, culvert and mailbox, then overturned several times.
Broad was pronounced dead at the scene. She was the only person in the vehicle.
Investigators said Broad was not wearing a seatbelt. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash, which remains under investigation.
