OHIO — One person was killed in a crash that shut down part of Westwood Northern Boulevard early Friday morning, according to Cincinnati Fire Department Assistant Fire Chief Matt Flagler.
The crash occurred just after 4:30 a.m. near Wardall Avenue and involved a Republic Services dump truck and another vehicle.
Westwood Northern Boulevard remains closed in the area, and drivers are being advised to use alternate routes.
The identity of the victim has not been released. It is not yet known if anyone else was injured.
Authorities said the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
