OHIO — One person is dead and a child was flown to the hospital following a serious crash involving a tractor-trailer Wednesday morning in Brown County.
The crash happened around 8:09 a.m. on State Route 32 near Freeh Road, according to authorities. Police and Air Care crews responded to the scene, where a car and semi-trailer had collided.
Officials confirmed the driver of the car died at the scene. A child who was also in the vehicle was flown to a hospital for treatment.
The Ohio Department of Transportation reported that eastbound lanes of SR-32 are closed at Freeh Road, and drivers are urged to use alternate routes.
Troopers remain on scene investigating the crash.
