OHIO — A woman has died following a two-vehicle crash in Pike County on Sunday afternoon, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash happened just after 1 p.m. on State Route 32 at U.S. 23. A vehicle traveling south on U.S. 23, exiting to State Route 32, reportedly failed to yield at a stop sign and struck another car.
The driver of the first vehicle and a passenger were both flown to Grant Medical Center. The passenger, identified as 78-year-old Wilma J. Taylor, later died from her injuries, OSHP said.
The other driver was treated at the scene, while a juvenile passenger in that vehicle was taken to Adena Pike Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
