OHIO — One person was killed Friday afternoon in a crash at the intersection of State Route 13 and State Route 96, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash happened around 2 p.m. when a Chrysler Voyager minivan traveling eastbound on Route 96 attempted to make a left turn onto Route 13.
A northbound Kenworth dump truck struck the passenger side of the van.
The dump truck continued northbound, hit a guardrail, and overturned. The driver was partially ejected from the vehicle and sustained fatal injuries.
The driver of the minivan was taken to OhioHealth Mansfield for treatment.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol said the crash remains under investigation.
