OHIO — One person is dead following a crash in Pike County Monday evening, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers said a Ford F-150 driven by John Short was traveling west on Schuster Road when it began to go off the right side of the roadway. Short overcorrected, causing the truck to veer off the left side of the road, into a ditch. He was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash was reported shortly before 8 p.m.
The Pike County Sheriff’s Department and the Seal Township Fire Department assisted at the scene.
