OHIO — A Lancaster man died following a single-vehicle crash in Circleville on Wednesday evening, according to the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the 18000 block of Commercial Point Road just before 5 p.m. after receiving reports of a crash.
Investigators say the driver of a 2024 Chevrolet Colorado was traveling eastbound on Commercial Point Road, just east of Anderson Road, when he failed to negotiate a curve. The truck went off the roadway and struck a tree.
The driver, identified as 47-year-old Jason Hoffman of Lancaster, was transported to Grant Medical Center in Columbus, where he was later pronounced dead.
The crash remains under investigation.
