OHIO — A 61-year-old man died, and two others were injured following a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning on U.S. Route 23 in Ross County.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Scott Stephenson was driving a Toyota northbound on U.S. 23 with a female passenger when the vehicle crossed the median into the southbound lanes.
The Toyota collided with a Volvo VNR semi-truck driven by a 23-year-old man.
Emergency responders transported all three individuals to the hospital.
Stephenson was pronounced dead, while his female passenger was flown to a Columbus hospital for treatment.
The semi-truck driver was treated and later released from a local hospital.
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
