OHIO — A 26-year-old Louisville man died Friday evening after being ejected from his vehicle during a rollover crash in Tuscarawas County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers say Jacob Goard was driving a GMC Acadia southbound on Baltzley Valley Road (County Road 69) in Goshen Township just after 7:45 p.m. when his vehicle veered off the right side of the road.
The SUV struck a culvert and overturned multiple times before coming to a stop.
Goard, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle. He was transported by EMS to a hospital in Dover, where he later died from his injuries.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
According to investigators, alcohol and drugs are believed to have played a role in the incident.
