OHIO — A Gallipolis man was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash occurred around 1 a.m. on State Route 588.
The driver, identified as 57-year-old Christopher H. Copley, was traveling along the roadway when his vehicle went off the road, struck an embankment, and overturned.
Copley was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, authorities said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
