OHIO — A Cincinnati man has died following a serious single-vehicle crash in Fairfield on Friday, according to the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office.
Officials identified the victim as 26-year-old Juan Gurrion Cortez.
Emergency crews were called to the scene at the intersection of Bobmeyer Road and East Airport Road, where they found a heavily damaged vehicle.
The crash shut down the road in both directions while first responders worked the scene.
Two medical helicopters were dispatched, and Gurrion Cortez was transported to UC Medical Center. It is unclear whether he died at the scene, in transit, or at the hospital.
Authorities have not released any details about what caused the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
