OHIO — At least one person has died following a crash at a busy intersection in Montgomery County on Sunday evening, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
State troopers from the Dayton Post said the crash occurred around 5:50 p.m. at the intersection of Austin Boulevard and Springboro Pike in Miami Township.
Emergency crews, including troopers and medics, responded to the scene after reports of a serious crash.
Authorities confirmed that at least one person was killed in the incident. No additional details about the victim or how the crash occurred have been released.
Traffic cameras from the Ohio Department of Transportation showed portions of the intersection remained closed as of around 7:30 p.m. as crews continued to investigate.
The crash remains under investigation, and officials say more information will be released as it becomes available.
