OHIO — One person was killed early Saturday morning in a single-vehicle crash in Greene County, according to the Xenia Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash occurred just before 2 a.m. on Feb. 7 on Waynesville Road near Centerville Road in Sugarcreek Township. Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene following reports of a vehicle crash.
During the initial investigation, troopers determined that a 2002 Saab 9-3, operated by a juvenile, was traveling southbound on Waynesville Road when it traveled off the right side of the roadway. The vehicle then struck a utility pole.
The driver of the Saab was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol said the incident remains under investigation. No additional details were immediately released.
