NORTH CAROLINA — A 26-year-old Greensboro man was killed in a crash Sunday morning on the US-29 North/Phillips Avenue overpass.
First responders, including Greensboro Police, Fire, and Guilford County EMS, arrived at the scene around 5:45 a.m. and found Yordy Ortiz-Cabreja deceased from crash-related injuries.
Preliminary investigation indicates Ortiz-Cabreja was driving north on US-29 in a BMW when he went off the road to the right, striking the shoulder guardrail and bridge.
Greensboro Police continue to investigate the crash.
