
NORTH CAROLINA — A passenger was killed and a driver seriously injured in a crash Saturday night in Graham, according to authorities.
The Graham Police Department said officers responded just after 9:15 p.m. to an overturned vehicle crash at the intersection of South Main and Moore streets.
Investigators said the crash involved a 2020 Jeep Wrangler driven by a 25-year-old man and a 1999 Ford driven by a 19-year-old woman.
Police identified the Jeep’s passenger as 29-year-old Imani Vaughn, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Jeep driver was transported to a hospital with serious injuries. Authorities have not released information about the condition of the other driver.
Multiple agencies responded to the scene, including the Graham Fire Department, Alamance County EMS, Burlington Police Department, Haw River Police Department, and the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities have not said what caused the crash or whether any charges will be filed. The investigation remains ongoing.
