NORTH CAROLINA — A 17-year-old girl was killed in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday evening in Pitt County, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the crash happened around 6 p.m. on Forlines Road near South Central High School. Investigators determined that Kimora Ashanti Robinson, of Winterville, was attempting to turn left onto Forlines Road from the school’s parking lot when her vehicle was struck by a car traveling west.

Robinson was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the second vehicle was taken to ECU Health with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities said no charges are expected to be filed at this time.
