
MISSOURI — Kansas City police responded just after midnight Friday to a deadly crash on Interstate 49 beneath Interstate 470.
According to preliminary reports, a white Toyota Camry was speeding when it failed to navigate a curve on I-49.
The vehicle went off the road and collided with a concrete bridge support under I-470.
The driver, who was alone in the car, was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle.
Emergency responders pronounced the driver dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
