Authorities said the crash occurred at the intersection of Riga Highway and U.S. 223. The Amazon van, driven by a 25-year-old Perrysburg man, was traveling north on Riga Highway when it struck a vehicle heading east on U.S. 223.
The Adrian man was taken to a Toledo hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His 63-year-old passenger sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The Amazon van driver was treated at a hospital in Adrian for minor injuries.
Officials confirmed that all parties were wearing seatbelts and that alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
