MICHIGAN — An 83-year-old man died Saturday afternoon following a crash in Brooks Township, according to the Newaygo County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the crash involving a pickup truck and a “golf cart style mini Jeep” near 88th Street and Tulip Avenue at 2:25 p.m. on August 9. The man, who was driving the mini Jeep, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A preliminary investigation indicates the mini Jeep pulled out in front of the pickup truck traveling west on 88th Street.
The driver and passengers of the pickup truck were not injured. The investigation is ongoing.
