MARYLAND — A driver was killed in a crash Friday night near the Marlow Heights Shopping Center in Prince George’s County, according to authorities.
Police said the crash occurred around 9:10 p.m. in the 4300 block of Branch Avenue. Investigators reported that two vehicles were involved in the collision.
The driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity.
Officials said the driver of the second vehicle was not injured and remained at the scene following the crash.
The circumstances leading up to the collision remain under investigation. Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact Prince George’s County Crime Solvers.
