MARYLAND — Two people are dead and one other was injured following a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning in Montgomery County, according to police.
Montgomery County Police and Fire and Rescue crews were dispatched around 3:09 a.m. to the crash scene.
Authorities said the crash left three people injured. One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
An adult male was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries where he died, while the condition of a third victim was not immediately known.
Several roads in the area were closed following the crash, including Norbeck Road at First Street, East Gude Drive at Taft Street, and Avery Road.
Police said the investigation remains active and ongoing, and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
