MARYLAND — One person was killed Tuesday morning following a four-vehicle crash on Suitland Parkway near Suitland Road, authorities said.
U.S. Park Police responded to the crash around 7 a.m. on the inbound lanes of Suitland Parkway. An adult victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while another person was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Traffic on eastbound Suitland Parkway is being diverted at Meadowview Road, and westbound traffic is being diverted at Suitland Road.
Police remain at the scene investigating the cause of the crash.
