LOUISIANA — Police are investigating a deadly crash that occurred Saturday morning in New Orleans East.
According to the New Orleans Police Department, the crash happened just before 8 a.m. near the intersection of Chef Menteur Highway and Ridgeway Boulevard.
Officers responding to the scene found one person deceased. Authorities initially categorized the case as an unclassified death but later reclassified it as a traffic fatality as the investigation progressed.
