KENTUCKY — A man was killed Friday in a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of KY Route 1103 and KY Route 680 in Floyd County, according to the Kentucky State Police.
Troopers arrived at the scene and found that Terry Samons, who was driving a 2002 Toyota Tacoma, attempted to merge onto KY Route 680 when his vehicle was struck by a 2020 Ford Escape.
The impact caused Samons’ vehicle to collide with a 2023 Toyota Highlander.
Samons was pronounced dead at the scene by the Floyd County Coroner’s Office.
The crash remains under investigation.
