KENTUCKY — A woman is dead after being found with a penetrating wound following a car crash in the Tyler Park neighborhood on Tuesday evening.
According to Louisville Metro Police, Fifth Division officers responded to a two-vehicle collision involving a Jeep and a pickup truck around 7:20 p.m. on April 16.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Tyler Park Drive and Baxter Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found a woman inside the Jeep suffering from an “unknown penetrating wound” that police say was unrelated to the crash. She was transported to UofL Hospital, where she later died.
LMPD’s homicide unit is now investigating the incident. No other injuries were reported.
