KENTUCKY — A fatal crash has shut down a major intersection in Berea, according to local authorities.
The Berea Police Department reported that the intersection of Richmond Road and the Berea Bypass was closed Wednesday morning following a collision that occurred around 10:30 a.m.
Police confirmed that one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another individual was transported to the hospital with injuries.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been released, and no further details about the cause of the crash have been provided.
