
KENTUCKY — A man was killed in a late-night crash Friday in eastern Kentucky, according to authorities.
The crash was reported around 9:09 p.m. near the intersection of KY-519 and KY-801.
Dispatchers with the Morehead Police Department received reports of a single-vehicle crash, prompting a response from multiple agencies, including the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office and Kentucky State Police.
At the scene, officials identified the driver as Donavan Kyle Porter, 30, of Olive Hill. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Rowan County Coroner’s Office.
Authorities said Porter’s body has been sent to the Kentucky State Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort for an autopsy.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
