KENTUCKY — One person was killed Monday morning after a crash involving a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle at an Alexandria intersection, according to the Alexandria Police Department.
The collision happened around 5:03 a.m. at the intersection of the AA Highway and Route 709.
Police said the driver of the passenger vehicle died at the scene, while the driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
