KENTUCKY — Kentucky State Police are investigating a deadly crash that occurred Sunday afternoon in Christian County.
Officers were called shortly before 3 p.m. to the intersection of KY-117 and US-41 in Oak Grove.
Preliminary investigations indicate that a 53-year-old Hopkinsville man, driving a pickup truck, failed to obey a traffic control device and collided with another vehicle. The passenger in the second vehicle, 55-year-old Tony Kilsby of Clarksville, was airlifted to a nearby hospital but later died from his injuries.
Authorities said the other individuals involved—including the Hopkinsville driver and the 26-year-old driver of the second vehicle—did not suffer serious injuries.
No criminal charges have been filed, and a KSP detective is leading the ongoing investigation. Additional details have not been released.
