KENTUCKY — A motorcyclist was killed Friday afternoon after colliding with a work truck in Ohio County, authorities said.
According to the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the crash around 1:21 p.m. on State Route 1414 near Whitesville.
Deputies identified the motorcyclist as Nicolas Payne of Hartford. Investigators say Payne was traveling south on State Route 1414 when he collided with a northbound Kenergy work truck.
Payne was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Ohio County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the accident.
