KENTUCKY — A man died following a crash on Kentucky Highway 15 in the Grapevine community on August 28, authorities confirmed.
Deputies and first responders arrived to find a single vehicle that had struck a mountainside. The driver, identified as Carlis Hall, was unresponsive inside the vehicle.
Life-saving measures were performed before Hall was taken to Hazard Appalachian Regional Hospital. Officials reported he had sustained multiple fractures and head trauma. He was then airlifted to the University of Kentucky Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The crash remains under investigation.
