KANSAS — One person is dead following a rollover crash early Saturday in Pawnee County, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash occurred at approximately 1:49 a.m. on Feb. 14 along K-156 near mile marker 86. Authorities reported that 36-year-old Jon Myles Woelk Blakely, of Rozel, was driving westbound when his vehicle left the roadway on the left side.
Investigators said Blakely overcorrected and returned to the roadway before the vehicle overturned and came to rest in the north ditch.
Blakely was pronounced dead at the scene. The Kansas Highway Patrol said he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
