One person dead following vehicle crash in Indiana

INDIANA — Indiana State Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred Thursday morning on Interstate 65 in northern Boone County.

The crash happened near the 149-mile marker, just northwest of Lebanon.

All southbound lanes of I-65 were shut down as a result.

Police said efforts are underway to reopen the right lane, but drivers should expect significant delays in the area.

The investigation is ongoing.

No other information has been released at this time.
