INDIANA — One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Monday morning in Tippecanoe County, according to the Tippecanoe County Coroner’s Office.
Officials said they were notified of the crash just before 4 a.m. in the 5600 block of North U.S. 231 in West Lafayette.
The victim has not yet been identified, and an autopsy is scheduled to be performed Monday at the coroner’s office.
The Tippecanoe County Coroner’s Office and the Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Office are continuing to investigate the crash.
“Our deepest sympathies and condolences go out to the family, and we hope they are respected during such a difficult time,” the coroner’s office said in a news release.
