INDIANA — A teenager was killed in a crash early Sunday morning in Franklin County, according to the sheriff’s office.
Deputies said they and emergency personnel from the Blooming Grove Fire Department responded to the 14000 block of State Road 1 around 4:30 a.m.
The driver, identified as Ethan M. Heath, 17, of Laurel, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A preliminary investigation shows Heath’s vehicle was traveling north when it left the east side of the roadway, struck a culvert and driveway, went airborne, and rolled several times before stopping.
The crash remains under investigation by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department.
