One person dead following vehicle crash in Indiana

INDIANA — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a fatal crash that occurred Sunday afternoon on the city’s southwest side.

Officers responded shortly after 5 p.m. on August 17 to a report of a crash near the intersection of Kentucky Avenue and South Lynhurst Drive. Police confirmed that at least one person died in the incident.

No further details about the crash or the victim have been released. The investigation remains ongoing.
