ILLINOIS — One person was killed and another injured following a two-vehicle crash Sunday morning in Dieterich, according to Illinois State Police.
Troopers responded to the intersection of 2300th Street and East 900th Avenue around 8:30 a.m. The crash involved a pickup truck and a white van, police said.
The driver of the van died from their injuries, while the driver of the pickup was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The roadway was closed for several hours during the investigation and reopened around 12:37 p.m. Authorities have not released additional details at this time.
