ILLINOIS — A Springfield woman died Tuesday evening after a car crash, according to the Sangamon County Coroner’s Office.
Coroner Jim Allmon identified the victim as 37-year-old Kendra Kittrell. She was pronounced dead at 6 p.m., shortly after arriving at a local emergency room.
An autopsy conducted Wednesday determined that Kittrell died from multiple blunt force injuries sustained in the crash.
Details about the crash have not been released. Authorities say the incident and Kittrell’s death remain under investigation.
