GEORGIA — A fatal crash caused all northbound lanes of Interstate 75 near Delk Road to be temporarily shut down Tuesday morning.
According to the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), the crash occurred around 10:30 a.m., prompting the full closure of the interstate in that area.
By approximately 12:45 p.m., GDOT announced on X (formerly Twitter) that all lanes had been cleared and reopened to traffic.
The Marietta Police Department is investigating the incident, which left at least one person dead.
As of now, authorities have not released details about what caused the crash or the identities of those involved.
