
GEORGIA — An auto accident in Albany left one person dead and others injured after a vehicle overturned several times Sunday evening, according to police.
The crash happened in the 1400 block of West Broad Avenue when the driver of a 2010 Toyota Camry lost control while traveling westbound.
Witnesses told officers the car struck a mailbox before overturning five times and coming to a stop.
Several passengers were inside the vehicle. Police said at least two sustained minor injuries. The driver was taken to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital with head injuries and cuts but later died.
