FLORIDA — One person is dead following a two-car crash Wednesday morning in Miami-Dade County, according to authorities.
The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office said the crash occurred at the intersection of Southwest 168th Street and 197th Avenue.
Deputies confirmed that one of the drivers involved in the crash died. The victim’s identity has not been released.
According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, the other driver was evaluated at the scene but declined to be transported to a hospital.
Officials said the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
