FLORIDA — One person was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Florida’s Turnpike in Hollywood on Saturday, according to Hollywood Fire Rescue.
The crash happened in both the northbound and southbound lanes of the Turnpike over Taft Street and involved several vehicles.
Emergency crews evaluated four people at the scene. One person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries, while another person was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
