FLORIDA — The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash that occurred early Saturday morning on Interstate 4 near World Center Drive.
Troopers said a 2013 Hyundai Elantra was traveling eastbound on I-4 shortly after 3 a.m. when the driver lost control and veered off the roadway into the median. The vehicle struck a guardrail before reentering the roadway, where it was hit by a 2015 Kia Sedona.
The driver of the Hyundai was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Kia was taken to Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital with minor injuries, according to FHP.
Investigators are continuing to determine what caused the crash.
