
COLORADO — One person was killed in a crash early Tuesday morning on westbound Interstate 70 near Havana Street, according to the Denver Police Department.
Police said the crash was first reported around 4:07 a.m.
Several westbound lanes of the interstate were closed for several hours as officers investigated the scene.
Authorities said one person was transported to a hospital, where they later died. No additional information about the victim was immediately released.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and police have not announced when all lanes were fully reopened.
