One person dead following vehicle crash in Arkansas

ARKANSAS — A 44-year-old Jonesboro man died Tuesday evening in a single-vehicle crash in rural Pulaski County, according to Arkansas State Police.

The crash occurred at 7:23 p.m. on July 29 along Highway 365 near Woodson Lateral Road.

Authorities say Kenneth Phillips was driving north in a 2015 Chevy Silverado when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.

Phillips was transported to UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock, where he was pronounced dead.

The incident remains under investigation by Arkansas State Police.
