
ARKANSAS — One person was killed in a crash involving a passenger vehicle and a semi-truck in Crittenden County, authorities said.
According to the Arkansas State Police, the crash occurred at the interchange of Interstate 55 and Interstate 40. The circumstances that led to the collision have not yet been released.
Traffic in the area was heavily impacted following the crash. Officials said traffic was being rerouted to U.S. Highway 64 at Exit 7, and drivers were advised to use alternate routes if possible.
Arkansas State Police are investigating the crash. No additional details were immediately available.
