ALABAMA — A Theodore man has died following a single-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon in Mobile County, according to authorities.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reported that the crash occurred around 5 p.m. on Williams Road, less than a mile south of Mobile.
Officials said 70-year-old Donald L. Johnson was driving a 2022 Ram 1500 pickup when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.
Johnson was critically injured in the crash and was transported to USA Health University Hospital in Mobile. He later died from his injuries.
Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division are continuing to investigate the crash.
